Moon in Leo

Today the moon moves from Cardinal Water Emotional Cancer to FIXED FIRE LEO. Leo is a point in the cycle where we brush our knees off, dry our tears, and with creative determination, decide to go out there and play. We may want to assert our will. Our heart may feel a strong recognition of our personhood. And with the moon moving toward an opposition with Saturn in the evening, this could get us into a bit of a confrontation between something we HAVE to do and something we WANT to do.

We also have the Mars Oppostite Neptune dynamic stretching our masculine prinicpal to the point of surrender. The trick right now, is to allow and create a reality where you want to do what you have to do because you see the bigger picture of how you as a unique person, impact the whole with your specialness. The responsibility is something you GET to do, because you can see how it impacts the other in a meaningful way. And it feels like play. Can we stretch open to this ideal?

Be mindful today of the bigger picture that you are creating toward. Journal about what it will take for you as a special unique person, to make the WAY you do it, your personal recipe.

How are you balancing play and your own expression, with the responsibilities of your life? We may be in for some big conversations today about sustainability and long term “Right Relationship” with our own needs and the needs of our relationships. MERCURY, the planet of commutation, transmission, messages, is in LIBRA the sign of creating balanced relationship with the other, is TRINE, or in a healing aspect, to to SATURN the planet that imposes pressure or tough love, in the sign of AQUARIUS how we impact the collective consciousness with our life.

With the moon in LEO today, Let go of any pressure or authority and just have fun! PLAY! Let this class feel like play if you can, let your journaling free flow. Let there be a healing in your way of being today. Know that you being you as a unique expression is all that the moon is helping you try to feel.

What does it mean for you to be complete, whole, and free?

We are preparing for our NEW MOON in VIRGO tomorrow. The moon with shift today from FIXED FIRE LEO to MUTABLE EARTH VIRGO. Virgo is the ending point, and material harvest of the first two ARROWS of MANIFESTATION for this Virgo season moon cycle. And boy is it a big New Moon for us.

(Today we prepare to plant a seed of sovereignty, to be in integrity and right relationship with who we have become and the outside world we now interface with.)

VENUS (our sensuous, enjoyable, feminine qualities) is in LIBRA (CARDINAL AIR, relationships with the other) and in a hard aspect (SQUARE) to PLUTO (the destroyer) in CAPRICORN (CARDINAL EARTH, the things we put out in the world), and also in a harmonious aspect (TRINE) to JUPITER (the expander) in AQUARIUS (FIXED AIR, The impact we have on others).

(We may grow beyond an old way of relating to our pleasure and experiencer of life today)

AAAAND we have Sun Trine Uranus, and Mars still in Opposition to Neptune and Trine to Pluto, and Mercury Square Saturn and so many other aspects - SSSSSSSoooooooooo that was the Astrology.

(Our behaviors may shift as a result of a higher and deeper understanding of what it truly means to be a sovereign human being.)

Some days it's a lot. And it's hard to uncover all the different ways we could experience it all, especially if these are also aspecting in our personal charts!

For today, the MAIN thing we are meant to know, and a short cut to understanding the bigger picture, is: The universe works on us in dynamic ways. LIFE IS HAPPENING FOR US. And we don’t even always have to understand how.
