Queen of Swords

We are maturing. We are learning what that even means. This Queen of Swords energy is finally seeing her inner dialog and how its been creating unneeded turmoil. She is breathing a sigh of relief. It’s like she just realized that she was making all of it up.

I was on a plane recently seated next to a woman who was very anxious. She was afraid she would die in a plane crash. She told me the story of the lady who was sucked out of her window on a recent southwest flight when an engine busted and broke cabin pressure. This person died instantly of a heart attack leaving her life and children, too early, in this woman’s opinion. As my fellow passenger sat anxiously through turbulence, near the wing and engine, I could see that she feared she would be taken too early as well.

I very lovingly looked at her. “You know, if this plane crashes, our deaths will actually be really fast. We wont even feel it. Boom, we will just be dead. The only suffering would just be the fear we have leading up to it, but all of that is just in our heads. But really, the actual death part would be pretty easy.”

I realize this seems slightly insensitive, but it interrupted her story a little bit. Though it took her aback momentarily, she smiled and laughed and said, “I guess you are right!” She totally relaxed and we started talking about other stuff.

That’s how this week is shaping up.

Just state the truth about what you are really afraid of. Face the reality, then let it ride. That is how we are maturing. In the end, the most suffering happens in our minds anyway. The stories we tell ourselves.

This is a very mental time in our cycle, Gemini energy generates a lot to think about, like a mental hurricane blowing over all the little green saplings of intention we have been nurturing. Don’t let the winds destroy your garden. Nurture your saplings. Double down on your practices.

The mind is becoming a soldier in service to our heart’s, no longer a warrior filled with fear.

So much love to you,
