Today we cross the threshold from the inner journey of completing self, to the outer journey of bringing self to the the other. As the moon finishes up its journey through Virgo, it crosses Mars as a final ego check to be sure we have our integrity in place, then she will enter Libra, the CARDINAL AIR sign that begins our focus on relationship, trust, fairness, harmony and balance with the outside world. Libra is a time where we, with Curiosity, pull back the 3rd Arrow of Manifestation with the intention to learn how to trust, choose who and how we go deep as it soars through Scorpio, and lands at a new higher truth or treasure from the experience in Sagittarius.

This is just a small arrow though as it is the small moon cycle we are mapping as we follow the moon's movements through every sign in a single month. The most valuable thing we can do while this moon in in Libra, is see this as a preview of what is to come when the Sun moves into Libra around September 22. Our way of relating will be going through a big overhaul this year, and this short window of Moon in Libra the next couple of days will give you a heads up on what is to come.

A great way to narrow in on the energies consciously, is to know where the sign of Libra is shining in your own chart, and to see what planets, or actors, will be energized by the focus there.

For instance, I have Libra over my 10th house of what I put out, or the legacy I leave aspecing my Venus and Mercury. I plan to get a lot of work done during the moon in Libra, for this class: Materials for you to print out, our next lecture presentation, and even some transcribing of the videos for a book I plan to publish to help many more learn Astrology. I can imagine that Libra season for me will highlight my professional relationships and how I am in relationship with even more people with the legacy I am able to leave if I truly focus and do the work.

Today as the Moon continues through Libra, I’d like to begin introducing the polarities of each sign. If the first 6 signs from Aries to Virgo are the personal signs that bring us through development to individuation and sovereignty, then the last 6 from Libra to Pisces correspond to these 6 in important ways. For instance: How we show up and shine in Aries, how we identify ourselves, how we use the energy to push from the collective unconscious into consciousness in a human form, ALL OF THAT impacts the way we feel when we are in Libra, connecting with others from that place.

Look back at your notes from the first couple of days of class or think about what you were engaged with at that time (8/24, 8/25) if you journaled, reread your entries. How did that foundation set the table for what you are experiencing today?

The moon will also cross Mercury today and both are in an opposition to Chiron. There may be a confrontation, or an opportunity to converse about or receive a message that can serve to heal a wound that could have been present back when the moon was in Aries (the same time frame I mentioned above) this day would be the reflection of how this cycle is impacting the healing of this particular wound in the collectives trajectory.

We as individuals, seeing ourselves and becoming aware, doing our sacred individual work, are the transformers of the macrocosm. Never discount the tiny bit of your own awareness and its ripple effects. We are only responsible for our little corner of life. What a sacred gift.

The Moon will finish her journey through Libra today with Trines and Squares to some of the slower planets, and finally ending up Conjunct Venus by the late evening. Its a good day to reflect on the lessons you have taken away so far, as we get little micro doses of all of the bigger themes we’ve already uncovered with Venus these past few weeks. Both the Moon and Venus will be entering Scorpio within the next day or two shifting the energy from the curious metal air sign, to deep fixed watery swim.

Use today to catch up mentally. Tie up loose ends. Revisit your journaling. If you knew the weather will change to rain soon, what would you do with the sunny day you have now?
